Following the Monza SP1 and SP2, the Daytona SP3 pays homage to Ferrari’s storied past, drawing inspiration from one of the most beautiful race cars of the 1960s—the 330 P3/P4—while also nodding to the Pininfarina Ferrari P5 prototype unveiled at the 1968 Geneva Motor Show.
Its name commemorates Ferrari’s legendary 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, a defining moment in the brand’s motorsport history.

Born in 1925 in Detroit, John Z. DeLorean was as complex as his tumultuous life. Rising through the ranks at General Motors, he quickly built a reputation as a brilliant yet undeniably arrogant engineer. His departure in 1973 led him to pursue the project of a lifetime: creating his own sports car.
The DeLorean DMC-12 was born amidst dubious financial dealings and a tense geopolitical climate. His boundless ambition ultimately ensnared him in a high-profile FBI drug trafficking sting in 1982—bringing both his career and his company to a dramatic end.
