Celebrating 50 years of the first World Rally Championship and Alpine victory, the San Remo 73 edition of the Alpine A110 is unveiled in 2023. Limited to 200 examples, it completes the Alpine range. It features the iconic Caddy Blue livery and a 300 hp engine, a fitting tribute to its 1973 ancestor.

This 73 Alpine A110 San Remo was put into service on December 7, 2023 in France. Number 173 out of 200, this brand-new Alpine is first-hand and has never been used by its owner. It currently has 38 kilometers on the odometer. Its general condition is impeccable. The bodywork, in its Caddy Blue livery, is strictly new and flawless. The San Remo edition features black and white stripes on the body in homage to the Alpine that won the first World Rally Championship. A carbon fiber roof completes the body design with a striking red varnish finish. This Alpine also features 18-inch "Grand Prix" wheels in brilliant white, with Brembo Anthracite brake calipers. This model is flawless.

Inside, this Alpine A110 San Remo features Sabelt Racing bucket seats in leather with black microfiber finish. The words "World Champion 73" are embroidered on the seats. The rest of the elements are similar to an Alpine A110, with reminders of the black and white motif on the door interiors and a numbered plaque next to the center console. The steering wheel is in leather and suede. All components are brand-new, and there are no defects to report.

Mechanically, this San Remo 73 edition is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbo engine developing 300 hp. Weighing just 1,116 kilograms, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. It features a 7-speed automatic gearbox and an active sport exhaust system. The mechanics are new and in perfect working order.

This edition comes with a complete integrated option package, including heated seats, sport exhaust, aluminum wheels and red-painted carbon roof. It comes with a 36-month manufacturer's warranty.

Historical summary of the model

The Alpine A110 is a flagship model of the French automotive industry, with a rich history and special significance in the world of rallying. The San Remo version of the Alpine A110 is a special edition, designed to celebrate the Alpine's historic rally victories, and in particular the Rallye San Remo.

Historically, the Alpine A110, produced by Renault subsidiary Alpine, was first introduced in 1961. Designed by Jean Rédélé, the car became famous for its lightness and agility, key characteristics for rally performance. The original car was fitted with a rear engine, a feature that remained constant in later versions, including the A110 San Remo Edition. The San Remo version of the A110 pays tribute to Alpine's exploits in the 1970s, notably in the Rallye San Remo. This rally, part of the World Rally Championship, was a playground for the Alpine A110, where it shone thanks to its exceptional performance. The A110's landmark victories at the San Remo Rally not only strengthened the Alpine's reputation in the world of rallying, but also helped forge the brand's sporting image.

Technically, the Alpine A110 San Remo Edition has been designed to reflect the spirit and performance of the original car, while incorporating modern technological advances. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, capable of producing a significant 300 horsepower, suitable for both road and rally performance. Weight distribution, optimized for enhanced driving dynamics, remains a key design element. In terms of design, the A110 San Remo Edition retains the iconic aesthetics of the original A110, while incorporating modern elements. The distinctive silhouette, with its flowing, aerodynamic lines, evokes the brand's heritage, while the use of lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon underscores the car's commitment to performance and efficiency.

The interior of the A110 San Remo Edition offers a blend of sportiness and comfort, with bucket seats, a sports steering wheel and trim that reflect the quality and care that has gone into the design. Modern technologies, such as the infotainment system and driving aids, are integrated in such a way as not to compromise the pure, engaged driving experience. Production of the Alpine A110 San Remo Edition was limited to 200 examples, making it a highly sought-after model for collectors and car enthusiasts. It represents not only a piece of rally history, but also an example of how automotive heritage can be preserved and celebrated in the modern era.
