Our Austin Healey BN1 100/4 was delivered new to its first American owner in January 1955. He opted for a black color with a red sidewall, combined with a burgundy interior. Our model is imported to France in 2009.
Today, we offer you this Austin Healey in excellent overall condition. Naturally, the 90 hp 2.7L engine coupled to the three-speed mechanical gearbox (+overdrive) fitted to our model is in perfect working order. After more than 70 years of existence, this Austin Healey shows no signs of fatigue, but has benefited from a restored dashboard (gauges and revised speedometer) and a new soft top. Fully original, our Austin Healey was tracked by classic car specialists and fully serviced in August 2023. New tires were fitted for the sale.

Designed by Donald Healey and produced from 1953 to 1955, the Austin Healey BN1 100/4 was first presented at the 1952 London Motor Show. With its design embodying the British charm and elegance of the '50s, it instantly won over customers.
Equipped with a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine, the little English convertible coupe was capable of reaching 100 mph (160 km/h), hence the origin of its name "100". Its lightweight chassis and sporty suspension provided an agile, responsive ride, ideal for thrill-seekers on the winding roads of the English coastline.
The Austin Healey BN1 100/4 was also a great success in competition, notably taking part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance races, where it demonstrated its robustness and reliability.
