Replacing the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Lamborghini Huracan is the Italian brand's new headliner, presented in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. It gets back the fabulous V10, previously shared by the Audi R8 and the Gallardo. This first version is equipped with the 610 hp 5.2 L V10 engine, slightly improved over its predecessor, located in a central rear position. Its design is similar to that of its big sister, the Aventador, while retaining much more accessible dimensions. The 4-wheel drive offers great agility, which combined with a relatively low weight of 1,553 kg, allows the 610 hp to be fully exploited. 0 to 100 km/h is reached in 3.2 seconds, with an aggressive roar that's hard to get enough of.
The Lamborghini Huracan is available in many versions, including the LP-580-2. As the name suggests, it features a 580 hp V10 engine and 2-wheel rear-wheel drive. Produced to offer a more affordable alternative to the Huracan LP-610-4, its driving pleasure is not diminished. 0 to 100 km/h takes just 0.2 seconds longer, and top speed is reached at 320 km/h, 5 seconds slower. In terms of handling, the LP-580-2 is even more playful thanks to its rear-wheel drive. The design adopts a few changes, with a different front bumper and larger rear vents for improved cooling.
