The Lancia Flaminia GT Superleggera 3C, with its 2.5-liter V6 and 3 carburetors, logically became the Italian brand's flagship.
Launched on February 1, 1962, this Lancia Flaminia GT Superleggera 3C retains a certain mystery about its history, from its first purchase to the year 2020. In very poor condition when purchased by its current owner on October 10, 2020, it benefited from a general restoration and many new elements from 2021 to 2023. Today, thanks to the restoration work carried out, it is in excellent condition and has regained its splendor. The bodywork, which has been completely redone, is finished in a Bleu Azur metallic color in perfect condition, offering brilliance and depth. No defects to be found. The windows have also been refurbished and close well. On the underbody, there's no rust to be reported and the chassis is sound. The chromes are in excellent condition, with the exception of those on the bumpers, which have a few slight defects but are original. The headlights, lights and exterior rubbers are in excellent condition.
Inside, the upholstery has been completely restored. The brown leather seats are new and perfectly complement the cream-colored trim. A roof lining in good condition and new carpeting complete the interior's aesthetic appeal. The dashboard is entirely original, and the instrumentation is functional. A wooden steering wheel in excellent condition completes the picture.
The 2.5-liter V6 engine, the heart of this Lancia Flaminia GT Superleggera 3C, works perfectly. Starts are quick and smooth, and the noise is completely normal. Many of the engine's components have been redesigned to ensure smooth operation. Carburetors, water pump, radiator, driveshaft, clutch and shock absorbers are all in excellent condition. The V6's 140 hp are delivered without a hitch. The brakes have been completely overhauled, and the discs and master cylinder are new.
This Lancia Flaminia has a collector's vehicle registration document, an FFVE certificate, a Lancia Classiche certificate of origin issued on March 1, 2023 and a technical inspection dated December 28, 2022. An expert's report dated April 13, 2023 describes the work carried out on the car and its condition.
