The Lotus Elise Cup 250 is an iconic sports car, launched in 1996 by Lotus Cars. With an extruded aluminum chassis and fiberglass body, it embodies the brand's lightweight philosophy. Weighing just 725 kg at launch, it achieves impressive performance thanks to its low weight, despite its modest power output.
The Cup 250 version, unveiled later, is more track-oriented. With its 1.8-liter Toyota supercharged engine delivering 250 hp, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Top speed is 248 km/h, with optimized aerodynamics producing 155 kg of downforce at high speed.
