Our Mercedes-Benz 350 SL R107 was delivered new in Europe and put on the road on July 24, 1973. Its current owner purchased it on April 18, 2014.
This example is presented in very good condition. In an attractive sky-blue hue, combined with a new navy-blue soft top, plenty of chrome and a sandy-beige leather interior, this 350 SL R107 is in excellent condition. The upholstery, in its used condition, is flawless.
Mechanically, the 200hp 3.5L V8 and 4-speed manual gearbox work flawlessly. Overall handling is good, and power is transmitted smoothly. The latest servicing is carried out in the Bordeaux region by vintage specialists. Recent invoices are available.
After the success of the Mercedes-Benz 280 SL, the Stuttgart-based firm had to find a worthy replacement. It's not an easy task, given the qualities of the Pagoda. Sportiness thanks to the in-line 6, an excellent compromise between comfort and sportiness, and performance to match!

Farewell to the Pagoda roof, but the SL retained its hard-top, optional on certain models. The lines are pure and elegant. Under the hood, a V8 engine is the logical choice, as the model is designed primarily for the American market. The 35O SL R107 uses a 3.5L V8 developing 200 hp.
