Mechanics
Opening the hood reveals an impeccable engine. This robust and vigorous 3.8-liter V8 has received its periodic overhaul and is in good health. The German car drives regularly and the whole body is in excellent condition with very healthy underpinnings.
Interior
In a luxurious setting where the quality of workmanship is obvious, the interior with heated seats has retained all its brilliance and classicism. Fully functional, the instrumentation is one of the most complete for its time with, among other things, cruise control and air conditioning.
Aesthetics
Its bodywork is flawlessly clean. Its windows are well aligned and its gleaming chrome is consistent with its factory finish, as are its bumpers and seals (new). The white paint is remarkably deep and matches the extremely pure wheels. Its black soft top and removable hardtop are literally brand new. Its tires are in very good condition.
Worthy heir of the legendary Mercedes 300 SL of 1954, the type R107 launched in 1971 has the heavy task to replace the famous SL "Pagoda". This first version, named 350 SL, was a success and evolved into 380 SL in 1980. Flagship of the Mercedes range, this luxury coupé-cabriolet has state-of-the-art equipment such as ABS and airbags.
