This BMW Z4 Cabriolet 3.0, with 105,000 KM on the odometer, was launched on February 24, 2004 in Italy before being imported into France in May 2008. Its second and current owner acquired it in May 2016.
This model comes in an elegant black hue, matched by a black leather interior, offering a sporty yet refined look. Body and interior are in excellent condition, with no notable defects.
Under the hood, this Z4 is powered by a 3.0L in-line 6-cylinder engine developing 231 hp, combined with an automatic gearbox. The mechanics are in excellent condition. The first generation of the BMW Z4, produced from 2002 to 2008, includes the E85 (roadster) and E86 (coupé) models. Succeeding the Z3, the Z4 is the third model in BMW's Z series. Conceived by Danish designer Anders Warming, the Z4 was unveiled at the 2002 Paris Motor Show, with sales in North America beginning in November of the same year.
Initial models included roadsters powered by six-cylinder 2.5L or 3.0L engines. In 2006, the coupe version was introduced, offering superior torsional rigidity thanks to its fixed roof, improving handling and cornering response. The coupé, with its "double bubble" roof and contoured rear window, also offers more trunk space than the roadster.
The Z4 replaced the Z3, with a larger size and a stiffer chassis. It uses lightweight materials, such as an aluminum hood and magnesium roof frame, to compensate for the increased weight. The models are powered by six-cylinder light-alloy engines, with advanced safety technology including four-wheel disc brakes and electronic stability control.
