Our BMW Z3 M Coupé was delivered new in Japan in 2001. It was purchased by its second owner, a Frenchman, and then imported into France. Its current owner acquired it in 2018.
Our example is in exceptional condition. In Cosmos Black, combined with Roadstar wheels and a two-tone Black and Moss Green leather interior, this BMW Z3 M Coupé has no aesthetic flaws whatsoever.
Mechanically, our model is equipped with a 321-hp M50 3.2 in-line 6-cylinder engine, combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Its performance is excellent. We have several years' service history, confirming exclusive maintenance by BMW.

Presented at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show, the BMW Z3 M Coupé was an atypical model. Based on the Z3 model presented a year earlier and its predecessor, the Z3 M Roadster, the Z3 M Coupé was not in M Motorsport's plans. The reason: competition from its M3 e36.
The project was finally approved, and Burkhard Göschel and Chris Bangle were put in charge of development and design. The Z3 M Coupé has a unique look, a real shooting break. With its elongated roof and plunging rear line, side ventilation grilles, oval mirrors, special wheels and quadruple exhaust pipes, the Z3 M Coupé is instantly recognizable.
Mechanically, the Z3 M is powered by the BMW S50 engine. A 3.2-liter in-line 6-cylinder, the S50 is the engine of the M3 e36. With 321 hp and 350 Nm of torque, the German engine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, all with manual gearbox. The 4 exhaust pipes offer a unique metallic timbre with every acceleration.
The interior of the M version is far more refined than that of the Z3. Sport seats, leather upholstery extending to the center console pillars, and an array of dials complete the experience.
An extreme model in every respect, the Z3 M Coupé is definitely not for everyone. However, the 6,300 or so units produced will quickly find takers, and leave their mark on enthusiasts, for good or ill!
