The Ferrari Roma, unveiled online on November 13, 2019, is a grand touring model with front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. This 2+2 coupé joins the Portofino and F8 Tributo in the Ferrari range. Inspired by the Ferrari 250 GT Lusso and 250 GT 2+2, its design features flush door handles, slim LED lights, and an active rear spoiler. In 2020, the Roma won a Red Dot award for its design.
Under the hood, the Roma is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine developing 620 hp and 761 Nm of torque, with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This transmission, lighter and faster than that of the Portofino, improves mid-range acceleration and highway comfort.
The Roma reaches 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and can exceed 320 km/h. Ferrari lightened this model by 200 kg compared to the Portofino, thanks to the use of new components, resulting in a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. In 2023, Ferrari introduced the Roma Spider, marking the return of a soft-top convertible for a front-engined model after 54 years.
