Our Porsche 911 2.7 Targa, with just 43,000 KM on the odometer, was put on the road in France on March 11, 1977. Its current owner acquired it in 2021.
This model is distinguished by its rare, perfectly restored original Talbot Yellow color, combined with a black leatherette and green velvet interior. Having undergone a complete restoration, the bodywork and interior are in like-new condition, with no defects whatsoever. The mechanics have also been completely refurbished.
Mechanically, this 911 2.7 Targa retains its original engine and gearbox. The car has benefited from numerous expenses over the last three years, with more than €20,000 invested: complete paintwork, engine tune-up, ignition, braking and geometry were carried out by recognized Porsche specialists (DMA, Marc Borie). The last overhaul took place on October 17, 2023.
A few items of equipment have been added, including a Scart pre-silencer and muffler, a Momo Prototipo Héritage steering wheel (original steering wheel supplied) and a Blaupunkt neo-retro ref-Bremen SQR46 car radio. All consumables are brand-new, so there's no extra charge. Optional extras include cruise control, electric antenna, tinted windows (green), defrosting rear window, Sonauto monogram, ATS 15" wheels, original jack and spare wheel.
The Porsche 911 2.7 Targa, introduced in the 1970s, is an iconic version of the famous 911. It takes its name from the Targa Florio, a motor race in Sicily where Porsche enjoyed numerous victories. Launched in 1967, the Targa is distinguished by its stainless steel roll bar and removable roof, an innovative solution to US cabriolet regulations.
The 911 2.7 Targa is equipped with a 2.7-liter flat-six engine, producing 150 hp in its first version. The S version, on the other hand, boasted 175 hp, and retained this power until 1977, when the 2.7 was replaced by the 3.0 version. For its part, the 2.7 Targa benefited from an increase in power from 1976, bringing it to within 10 hp of the S. This engine uses Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection, which improves efficiency and performance. The 2.7 Targa also adopted the new impact-absorbing bumpers, mandatory to meet the safety standards of the 70s.
