Our Porsche 911 Type 997.1 Carrera, with only 88,000 KM on the odometer, was put on the road on September 7, 2005 in France (Option code C05). Its current owner acquired it in 2016.
This example is presented in Seal Grey Metallic, complemented by a black leather interior. The bodywork and interior are in impeccable condition.
Under the hood, this 997 Carrera is powered by a 3.6L flat-six engine developing 325 hp, combined with a manual gearbox. An aftermarket sports exhaust further enhances the engine's sound. It has been serviced exclusively in Porsche Centers and by recognized specialists. A full service history, including invoices and service booklet, is available. The last overhaul was carried out in the summer of 2023. The IMS has been reinforced. Consumables are in very good condition, and the rear brake discs will be changed for sale. No costs are involved.
Here are the options and equipment available for this model:
The Porsche 911 Type 997, the sixth generation of the famous 911, was produced from 2004 to 2013. Succeeding the 996, it brought significant evolutions in terms of design and technology. The return of oval "bug eye" headlights, replacing the fried egg-shaped headlights of the previous model, marked a major visual break, reminiscent of classic 911s. 18-inch wheels became standard, and the "S" model offered a more powerful version with sporty suspension and exhaust.
The range has expanded over the years, with the Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo, GT3 and GT2, as well as Targa versions, featuring the iconic glass roof. In 2009, a major update introduced direct injection and PDK dual-clutch transmission, making the models faster, lighter and more fuel-efficient. The 997 Turbo, with its new all-wheel drive and torque vectoring system, could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3 seconds with PDK.
Although the 997 is more of an evolution than a revolution, it has received mostly positive reviews. Even Jeremy Clarkson, known for his reticence towards Porsche, praised the 997's ability to "stir the soul."
