Here are the options and equipment available on this model:
The Porsche 911 Type 997, the sixth generation of the famous 911, was produced from 2004 to 2013. Succeeding the 996, it brought significant evolutions in terms of design and technology. The return of oval "bug eye" headlights, replacing the fried egg-shaped headlights of the previous model, marked a major visual break, reminiscent of classic 911s. 18-inch wheels became standard, and the "S" model offered a more powerful version with sporty suspension and exhaust.
The range has expanded over the years, with the Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo, GT3 and GT2, as well as Targa versions, featuring the iconic glass roof. In 2009, a major update introduced direct injection and PDK dual-clutch transmission, making the models faster, lighter and more fuel-efficient. The 997 Turbo, with its new all-wheel drive and torque vectoring system, could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3 seconds with PDK.
Although the 997 is more of an evolution than a revolution, it has received mostly positive reviews. Even Jeremy Clarkson, known for his reticence towards Porsche, praised the 997's ability to "stir the soul."
