Our Porsche Boxster S 987 was delivered new in Germany and put on the road on February 24, 2010. It was imported into France in 2022 and has 3 owners.
This model is in very good overall condition. In a Black Schwarz color, combined with 19" Carrera Sport wheels and black leather interior, there are no faults to be found on any of the components. Of particular note is the imitation-carbon covering on the hood.
Mechanically, this Boxster S phase 2 is equipped with a 310 hp, 3.4L Flat 6, combined with a mechanical gearbox. Its performance is beyond reproach. Servicing was carried out at Porsche Centers from 2010 to 2021. The stamped logbook and all invoices are available. The last overhauls in 2023 and 2024 involved overhauling the engine, replacing the cooling hose, the rigid coolant line and the clutch pedal switch.

Presented at the 2004 Paris Motor Show as the successor to thefirst-generationBoxster 986, the Boxster 987 features a number of slight changes, all in keeping with the Porsche spirit. While its silhouette is very much inspired by that of its predecessor, there are a few interesting details. The front end has been extensively reworked, and the headlamps are quite different from those of the 991 997. The Boxster no longer needs to resemble the 911 to appeal. The hips are wider, and the emphasis is on sportiness. Dimensions remain relatively similar, at just 9mm longer, 21mm wider and 5mm higher.
Under the hood, the Boxster S retains the Flat 6, here with 3.2L displacement and 320 hp. Phase 2 will quickly bring a few modifications in 2009, with the addition of LED daytime running light strips, a false diffuser and a new powertrain. The Boxster S retains the same displacement but increases to 310 hp with the adoption of direct fuel injection. The main new feature is the PDK robotized gearbox, which surpasses the Tiptronic.
