- The soul of Ferrari, the naturally-aspirated V12
Unveiled in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta belongs to the large family of models featuring a V12 mid-engined front. A worthy successor to the 599 GTB, the F12, with its 740 hp, carries the Maranello firm's colors high.
Registered on January 2, 2013, this example of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is among the first to leave the Italian factory. Its first owner was none other than the founder of the Brabus car preparation company, who purchased it from the Ferrari Centre in Düsseldorf as a personal vehicle. Sold to the Brabus company itself, this F12 Berlinetta was later purchased by the Centre Ferrari Gauduel Lyon. Its second owner purchased the car with only 970km on the clock.
Perfectly maintained by both its first and second owners, this F12 Berlinetta is in remarkable condition, comparable to factory-new. With only 6,600 kilometers on the odometer, it is one of the rare examples on sale with such low mileage. It has benefited from the expertise of the Centre Ferrari Gauduel Lyon for all its maintenance and has the associated invoices. It has a protective film applied by Ferrari to the wings and front bumper.
Configured in Rosso Corsa red, the bodywork is flawless. The paintwork offers brilliance and depth, and requires no retouching. The interior, in a Nero color throughout, is also in perfect condition. The Daytona seats are flawless, and combine perfectly with the LED steering wheel and the carbon elements dotted around the dashboard. The instrumentation is fully functional.
Mechanically, the front-mid-mounted V12 starts at a moment's notice and runs perfectly. The 740 hp are delivered without difficulty, and there's no noise to be deplored. This F12 Berlinetta has never been driven on a racetrack and has brand-new consumables (1% brakes). With a final service due in August 2023, this example is ready to hit the road as soon as it is purchased.

The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, unveiled in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show, follows in the tradition of the Prancing Horse brand's front-engined V12 models. Replacing the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, it occupies a strategic position in the Italian manufacturer's catalog.
The F12 Berlinetta is powered by a 6.3-liter (6,262cm³) naturally-aspirated V12 engine in the front mid-engine position. This block, named F140 FC, generates 740 horsepower (hp) at 8,250 rpm and 690 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It should be noted that 80% of this torque is available from 2,500 rpm, guaranteeing impressive performance from low revs.
This power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an automated seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Thanks to this configuration, the F12 Berlinetta is capable of reaching a top speed of over 340 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. As for the chassis, Ferrari has used an all-aluminum assembly, enabling the F12 Berlinetta to boast a dry weight of 1,525 kg. Weight distribution is optimized, with 46% at the front and 54% at the rear.
In collaboration with Pininfarina, the design of the F12 Berlinetta blends flowing forms and taut lines. Engineers and designers worked together to integrate advanced aerodynamic solutions, while maintaining an elegant and distinctive aesthetic. Elements such as the AeroBridge, which uses the car's hood to divert airflow to the sides, and the active rear diffuser, contribute to the car's aerodynamic efficiency, achieving a highly competitive drag coefficient while maximizing aerodynamic downforce.
The F12 Berlinetta is positioned as a GT, a sporty coupe focused on performance but also capable of offering a degree of comfort on long journeys. During its production period, Ferrari also introduced a more radical version, the F12tdf (Tour de France) in homage to historic motor racing. This version offered even greater performance, with a refined engine and specific aerodynamic adjustments.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta marks a milestone in the evolution of the Maranello-based company's V12 GT models. With a balance of raw performance, refined design and technical innovation, it reflects a century of expertise, combining passion for racing with the art of gran turismo.
