Our 981 Porsche Boxster Spyder was delivered new from Germany and put on the road on November 20, 2015. It was imported into France in January 2023 by a professional, then purchased by its current owner.
This model is in excellent overall condition, in keeping with its low mileage of 23,000 km. Configured in Carrara White with grey wheels, red brake calipers, two-tone burgundy red and black alcantara interior and carbon bucket seats, this 981 Porsche Boxster Spyder is flawless.
Mechanically, this model performs flawlessly. Its 375 hp 3.8L flat-6 engine, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox, unleashes all its power and superb sound without a hitch. It is serviced exclusively in Porsche Centers. Numerous invoices and the stamped service book are available. The last service was carried out in April 2023. Consumables are in excellent condition.

After almost 16 years of loyal service, the Boxster 986/987 generation was replaced in March 2012 by the 981 generation. The styling is completely new, with many of the codes taken from the 918 supercar. The car gains in length, wheelbase and rigidity, while being lowered and lightened by more than 30 kilos. The Boxster's lines are still present, but much more refined, with a few extra lines and details. The interior is much improved, both in terms of materials and on-board technology.
Mechanically, the changes are relatively minor. The 6-cylinder flat engine is offered in 2 versions, depending on the model: 3.4L for 315 hp and 2.7L for 265 hp. A logical reduction in displacement, always with the aim of meeting CO2 emission standards. The Boxster 981 got off to a good start, with sales doubling compared to the 987. The GTS version appeared in 2014, bringing with it a host of improvements. A sportier look, sharper running gear and increased power to 330 hp, all enhanced by a PDK gearbox to reduce emissions.
The Boxster Spyder presented in 2015 is the ultimate model of the 981 generation. Its rear hump is reminiscent of the iconic 718 Spyder raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1957 to 1963. The Boxster Spyder's front end features a spoiler that stretches across the entire width of the bumper to reinforce the front end's aerodynamic support. The wide side air intakes and central dual exhaust tailpipes are also featured. The chassis is lowered by 20mm, while 911 Carrera brakes and more direct steering are added. A canvas soft top is chosen, lowering the car's weight and offering more authentic styling. For the engine, Porsche offers a 375 hp 3.8L 6-cylinder, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The ultimate version of the 981 captures the essence of sportiness.
