Replacing the 987 generation, the Cayman Type 981 has evolved in every respect: dynamic efficiency, comfort, build quality, performance, power and much more. Put on the road in Germany on November 20, 2014, this Cayman GTS Type 981 arrives in France in 2016. Owned for 4 years by its previous owner, it has covered around 40,000 kilometers over this period, for a current total of 63,900 kilometers on the odometer. Having left the factory 9 years ago, its overall condition is excellent.
It features a flawless, seamless body in an intense Black metallic hue. The paintwork, which adds an obvious sporty character, offers brilliance and depth. Fully upholstered in black leather, the interior combines perfectly with the bodywork and is in excellent condition. The bucket seats, steering wheel and dashboard are in excellent condition and free from defects. The on-board instrumentation is functional.
Mechanically, the 340 hp naturally-aspirated flat 6 and PDK gearbox offer sharp sportiness and excellent performance. The naturally-aspirated engine is more musical than on the 718 range.
Seriously maintained, it has undergone a technical inspection at 53,500km in June 2021, and a second one on September 4, 2023, both of which were carried out without any problems. The last service was carried out at 60,500km. A full, stamped service history and numerous invoices are available. Very recent work has been carried out on the rear brake discs, front and rear brake pads, and the car has 4 new tires. Duplicate keys are available.
