The model presented is a 1973 Porsche 911 2.4 T Targa decorated with a magnificent Conda Green livery combined with a smooth black leather interior of the most beautiful effect. A unique treatment that benefits from electric windows, Fuchs wheels in 16 inches (original wheels available), a Bluetooth radio with a vintage look and a sublime 3-spoke steering wheel (original steering wheel available). All this gives this 911 a unique identity.
German in origin, it stayed in Italy and knew two owners from 1994 to 2014 before arriving in France. From 2015 to 2022, its French owner called upon the best specialists to carry out a complete restoration of its bodywork as well as a deep overhaul of its engine and gearbox. A project that required nearly 1,700 hours of work, complete with photos and invoices.
This Porsche 911 2.4 T Targa has been carefully and seriously maintained since new and has a low mileage and stands out thanks to its complete history since 1994.
Remarkably well cared for and sound in terms of aesthetics and mechanics, it will delight the hearts of purists as well as vintage Porsche enthusiasts with its impeccable general condition and the character of its flat 6.
Today, the 2.4 version is considered the most successful and one of the most sought-after classic 911s. It is the equivalent of today's Carrera and is synonymous with pure sportiness.
Sold with its certificate of authenticity Porsche.
No other car can boast such a tradition as the Porsche 911. In September 1965, Porsche unveiled the 911 Targa at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Neither a convertible nor a coupe, the German model gave birth to a new Porsche driving experience.
The origin of the name Targa comes from a Sicilian race, named Targa Florio, in which Porsche used to shine since the 1950s. Wishing to overcome the problem of wind blowing into the canvas of the convertibles and the resulting inflation phenomenon, the engineers of the Stuttgart brand designed a new architecture consisting of a fixed roll bar, a retractable roof and a folding plastic rear window.
Fully closed, fully open, or with only the center portion of the roof removed or the rear window folded down, the Targa allows you to enjoy open-air driving like never before. The concept was an immediate success that continues to this day.
Taking advantage of Porsche's experience in competition, the 1972 911 Targa uses certain parts used on the racetrack, such as the running gear and shock absorbers, which significantly improve handling. Mechanically, it is powered by the 130 hp, air-cooled, carbureted 2.4-liter flat-6 engine with a metallic sound.
The German has a timeless line and the perfect proportions of a pure sports car. Shapely hips, sensual curves, seductive face... its charm is irresistible.
No other car will succeed in combining so harmoniously what everything seems to oppose: sportiness and comfort, tradition and innovation or exclusivity and popularity.
