Our Porsche 911 Type 992 Carrera 4S is delivered new in Italy and put on the road in October 2019. It was purchased by its first owner at the Porsche Centre Turin, and then by its current owner in January 2024.
This example is presented in mint condition, in keeping with its low mileage of 15,380 kilometers. In Gentian Blue metallic, with grey RS Spyder Design wheels, red brake calipers and two-tone Slate Grey and Chalk Grey leather interior, this 992 Carrera 4S is flawless.
Mechanically, its performance is beyond reproach. The 450 hp 3.0L flat 6, combined with the 8-speed automatic gearbox, perfectly delivers its power to all 4 wheels, with a lovely sound. Servicing was carried out at the Centre Porsche Toulouse and numerous invoices are available. The last service was carried out in October 2023.

Since its launch during the 993 generation of the 911, the Carrera 4S version has had several lives. Its place in the range and its specific features have evolved over each of the 5 generations of the 911. It made its first appearance in the late 90s, replacing one of Porsche's most popular models, the 911 Turbo Look. The Carrera 4S had its work cut out for it from the outset, but didn't disappoint anyone thanks to a more complete recipe. The body retains its widened fenders, while brakes and suspension are borrowed directly from the 993 Turbo. All-wheel drive is obviously a major plus point, and all this is accompanied by enhanced equipment with leather upholstery, top-of-the-range sound system and more. An immediate success, even if purists prefer 2-wheel drive models.
The Carrera 4S continues its success story, joining the catalog of the 996 generation. Once again, the Carrera 4S is considered by many to be the most successful of the 996s. Its bodywork, taken from the Turbo, and the famous red stripe between the taillights are no strangers to success. The versatility offered by the chassis, running gear and new 320hp 3.6 naturally-aspirated engine will convince buyers. The transition to the 997 generation was marked by the abandonment of the Turbo Look, replaced by simple rear fenders widened by 44mm. The width remained the same as for the Turbo, but all its distinctive features were dropped.
The 991 generation retains its aesthetic differentiation, with the central strip running along the rear hood. The combination with the 991's slimmer taillights is totally successful, becoming a real selling point. The wide fenders are still relevant, for the time being. In fact, the latest generation abandons its widened fenders and adopts those of the 992 Carrera S. Porsche justifies this change by pointing out that the fenders on the Carrera S are already very wide. In the interests of design consistency, the 4S could not feature the usual fenders of previous generations. With these changes, however, the Carrera 4S becomes relatively similar to the S, with additional all-wheel drive. On-board technology remains of the highest quality, allowing the Carrera 4S to be the leading model of its generation, yet another argument to justify its purchase.
